Task 1:Tracing

During this task, I used the software Adobe Illustrator CS4.

First, I choose the Pictogram picture on the internet and open it in the Adobe Illustrator CS4.I use the Pen tool. And then I drew follow the shape pictogram picture such as copy a new one called Vector.

Next, I filled up the colour of vector with Eyedropper in the function Fill and Stroke.

Thirdly, I adjusted the vector to the place near the original one pictogram picture to saw the different between two picture clearly.

Then, I gonna save my artwork. So I saved the picture with use the Export in the File, and changed the format from DWG to JPEG. Lastly, I set the JPEG Option with Image Quantity in 7 or 8 that in the Maximum gred and colour model with CMYK before click the OK to done the save process.

The problem that I faced during I do this task is the mouse of computer was difficult to control. So when I do the tracing work, I must take a few more time to done my work.

My observation about this task is I can copy any my favorite logo from another side. I also can use this software to create my own logo. I hope this software is useful in my future art work.

Task 2 : gradient

First, I find a picture on google and I pick apples.

Second, I enter into the picture earlier of Adobe Illustrator to do the gradient. ago, I double click on the layer and change the layer to the template and size to 100%. after that, I used a new layer to start the gradient. third, i click on the PEN TOOL to tracing the apple. after tracing out the fruit, I use MESH TOOL to create a line of it.

fourth, I use the DIRECT SELECTION TOOL on the line and use the Eyedropper TOOL to pick the color.

Lastly, i save the file and export to JPG to put in my blog.

I have no problem in doing gradient.

my observation, I can do so much more color gradient.
